Who we are

ShamFix was founded in 2025 and is headquartered in Clifden, County Galway, Ireland. We are building an Ireland-native marketplace for home services — designed for the Irish market from the ground up, not adapted from a UK or international template.

How ShamFix works

  • Subscription-only — no commission ever. Providers pay a predictable monthly fee (or join free during launch). ShamFix does not take a cut of completed jobs.
  • AI concierge matching. Customers describe their job; ShamFix matches them with available local providers instead of a manual bid-and-wait flow.
  • Reviews-based reputation. ShamFix trust signals come from honest customer reviews, transparent ratings, and provider track records shown on profile pages.
  • Presumption of innocence model. Providers are responsible for their own credentials, insurance, and documentation, and customers can review profile details before choosing who to hire.

Where we operate

ShamFix is expanding across Ireland with a Galway hub and active coverage in Dublin and Cork. Our roadmap targets five priority cities and their commuter counties:
